How many miles to zero from a full tank?

I have owned my Volvo V40 T2 Rdesign 2016 for 11 days now and I'm curious as to how much fuel the tank holds after a fill up. I understand that the fuel tank size for these vehicles is 61L. My previous vehicle which was a Seat Ibiza had a tank size of 45L and after a fill up which on average cost me £40-45, the trip computer would tell me that I would get around 450 miles to zero.
When I bought the Volvo I was given a full tank of fuel and when I asked what this had cost to fill up I was told £47 and the miles to zero was showing at £450 which I thought was strange considering the tank size between this and my Ibiza.
I have just had to fill the car up today and this cost me £60 (so clearly I wasn't given a completely full tank by the dealership even though it appeared full on the dashboard gauge) and again the miles to zero is at 440-450. Fuel prices where the dealer filled up and where I have are pretty much the same.
Surely I should be getting more miles with the tank size difference so just wondering if it is with the car being new that things need to settle down a bit so just curious as to what anyone else is getting.

On average my D4 shows 550 - 650 miles range on a fill up.
Once it showed over 900 after 2 days of frugal driving to work & back, nearly running on vapour. (140 miles round trip)
On driving back home, less than a mile, in a 30mph limit, it dropped like a stone to about 750 miles.

The estimated range works on, I think some calculations based on your current MPG and average MPG so is likely to fluctuate a little. Don't forget also if your car is still new, as has been said before, it will take some running in before you start to see an improvement in MPG and therefore range even then it may/may not go up much anyway. I'm averaging 38MPG still with over 7000 miles and get a range on the dash of around 480. Even then I think I'm getting less than that!

Ive got a D3 and im getting about 700 to the tank. Im averaging about 54mpg but it is mainly motorway driving. Town driving reduces this considerably.

Do you run it to the red light?

52 litre average fill nets me 550 miles A roads only I think I'm right in guessing 48ish mpg, I do not drive for economy.

I would guess a petrol would be on par at 450 a tankful at a guess.

Still thought I should be getting more than 450 miles from a full tank of fuel when the fuel tank is bigger than my previous car and it's costing me approx £15 more to fill up my Volvo. Not quite sure why I'm not.

I've got the old D2 with a 50L tank and get 550ish miles before the light comes on. Unlike my previous cars the Volvo is nowhere near the quoted figures (getting 60mpg, quoted 74). Yes having another golf would've given me another 10mpg and saved me money on fuel a month, but then I worked it out it was only £5 a month more for the Volvo in fuel. More than enough to warrant driving a nicer car!

D4, and when being brave I can hit 620 miles on a tank. That only happens when not using the full 240 bhp (Rica...) and when doing mainly motorways at legal speed.
When driving like Miss Daisy I can even get a tad further.
On a recent trip from Luxemburg to home (roughly 200 miles) I averaged 59 mpg with an average speed of 61 mph. (hilly motorways...)

I have been tracking my T2 from new, measuring the MPG using the number of litres and mileage between fill-ups (not just looking at the dash).

My cumulative economy over the 3,200 miles is 38.9MPG.
The furthest I have gone on a single tank is 460miles (I tend to full up as soon as the warning light comes on).
Given my average MPG, and the size of the tank per the manual, my theoretical range is 540 miles.

I got 44MPG on one long motorway journey (cruise control at 80mph). This would mean a theoretical range of basically 600 miles.
