I emailed them yesterday, reply followsDear Sir,

Thank you for your inquire for a RICA ECU upgrade for a Volvo D2 VEA 120 Hp.

We have the tuning ready for your car, with the RICA ECU upgrade you will
have 164 Hp / 373 Nm.

However initially we must perform a decoding procedure of your ECU in order
to be able to provide you with the iSoftloader and the tuned software.
At this point this ECU decoding and tuning can only be made at the
RICA head office in Holland ( Wateringen ) and at RICA Sweden located in
Gothenburg.

We are working on a solution to be able to do this also in other areas such
as the UK but at this point there is not any solution.

One possible solution might be that we try to collect a number of new Volvo
Drive-E cars at one location in the UK and then we send over personal from
RICA in The Netherlands or Sweden to make all cars at the same time.

Best Regards

Kalle Nilsson

just sending in your ECU works too, that's what I did. Went to a local Rica reseller who gave me a temp car, had my ECU shipped, got it back 48 hours later
I do agree that a Polestar tune is by far the more easy choice, since those people do have the codes and do not need to "jail break" the ECU.
