about 100kg dry on a basic car if you option the D4 up it will get even bigger, also there is another 8kg just in the difference in the fuel capacity

As a standard car the D2 and D4 have different springs so I would have thought this would have warranted it on the uprated set up, it certainly did on the springs for the Mk2 focus

Ok, I installed the springs and spacers today... but there was a problem fitting the 15mm ones, so I just installed the 20mm for the rear first.

Some pics below.

Ride gets harder, more abrupt if never slow down for humps - I estimate more jarring by maybe a factor of 10%? But it's no biggie for me. the looks even more now.

Front drops by 25mm, and the rear by 30mm... approximately.

I've ordered mine as well... getting it installed in the next few weeks.

Did your V40 come with the lowered suspension when you bought it?

I have the T5 with the lowered suspension and i do find the ride pretty firm already. I'm hoping that the springs will keep the ride quality on the same level or just slightly firmer when stock.

You should take a photo on an angle so we can see the stance.

It looks really good btw! nice work

Good to hear mate! Yup mine's the sports suspension, but try as I might, I personally can't accept the "SUV jr" looks it came with.

Seeing that my prev ride runs like this:

The p/n is: E10-84-006-14-22. Any how, here are some more pics after I installed the 15mm front spacers.

Very nice! Thanks for the photos and the info! They are very helpful. Will be following your lead with the same setup except I wont be putting any spacers on mine as I'm planning to change the wheels with a nice offset.

Any issues with humps and scraping on steep driveways?

You mentioned that the ride is harder and more jarring? Is it significant?

Very nice evo btw!

The driveway around my parts aren't all that ferocious, except for a couple of infamous malls... which I avoid going in the first place.

I would say it is moderately significant, especially if the driver are those type who plough through humps without slowing. IMO, the tradeoff is worth it.

Thanks! Occasionally I still think about her still.
