Question Eibach springs and spacers

I have a R-Design with the sports chassis. Thinking of getting the above, for a more planted look.

Previous ride was on Cusco coilovers, so no experience with lowering springs and spacers.

Has anyone have experience with them? On V40s, Volvos... or other marques? Please share your experience, thanks.

Did you manage to lower your V40? I'm not sure if Eibachs make springs for the V40. I know they make it for the Focus ST.

Ford use eibachs for their approved retro fit option lowering springs ,I also have them on the lotus not lowering but standard with the billstiens.

Eibachs are one of, if not the best springs you can get

What v40 have you got, I think the sports chassis is way too high at the back and would be interested in dropping it a bit in the future (why is it so high????)

Re spacers ones for the focus should be ok, I assume the run the same hubs and discs?

If you go to the Eibach site (.de not .com), a short list of part numbers will turn up for our car model, for spacers and springs.

And you guys are right, a lot of the components are shared with the Focus. Have ordered 15/20mm (f&r) spaces and Sportsline springs online. Will post some pics here when I finally get to install them!

Yup I have the sports chassis and I find the ride height too high visually, haha.

Yeah i've got the T5 r design with sport chasis. i still find it too high.

are you sure the model names you find are for 2013 v40? might be the old one.

i'm happy to wait for axl886 builds and see how he goes. use him as the guinea pig

probably wont go with the sportlines. that might be pushing it. i still want to retain some ride comfort. i thing the pro kit drops it perfectly.

im also going to replace the 18" ixons with wider wheels with better offsets so i wont need to use spacers.

It's confirmed it's for our V40. "Hatch 2012- " doesn't sound right to you?

Typo in my earlier post; I actually ordered the pro kit not sports line. .. my bad. The latter's not available anyways.

Does the site and differentiate between the different engines (weight due to different lump and fuel tank size)?

Just looked and it is quoting the same springs from the D2 to the D4 which is a little worrying
