A lot of elbow grease and good polishing technique.
Always a clean applicator sponge and Microfibre towels. Gentle layers of polish and buff off going up and down the paintwork, not circles.

Certainly. If you're paying for flights and accommodation. It'll take at least a month by the way and my wife will have to come along to inspect the results I'm afraid

Shiny as...

I'm surprised and disappointed as I was fully expecting this guy:

On another note though, loving the shine you've achieved on your V40. Black definitely looks like the most rewarding colour when done right, however I have enough of a pain trying to keep my rebel blue looking good when the sun hits it. Had mine professionally detailed but looking to do it all myself once again as a few months down the line it needs polishing again!

As a matter of fact that is the character I got my nickname from. I was six foot tall as a school boy and we used to play Rugby in bright yellow kit. Somethings just stay with you all your life.

Black is without doubt the best and the worst colour. It looks great when shined and polished but you have to be OCD to keep it good or it can look terrible very quickly.
