How is something like only 3l per 100km possible? I drive pretty eco, but never went under 5,3l per 100km, which for me was normal because it is advised with 4,5l/100km.
Ok wait. Conversion. People here are averaging at 60 MPG which is Miles per Gallon, right?
1 Mile = 1,60934 km
1 Gallon = 3,78541 liter
60 Miles * 1,60934 = 96,5604km per Gallon
96,5604km / 3,78541 liter = 25,508km per liter
I need 5,3 on 100km which makes 18,867km per liter. Converting this into gallon -> 18,867km * 3,78541 liter = 71,42 MPG.
Did I made a huge mistake in my math, or am i right with a MPG of 71,42? Is that good?
