I recently completed a service on my V40 D2 1.6.
Changed the Thermostat in the service and since then the bleed cap has split twice resulting in coolant leaking from it.
My gut is telling me it's poorly made and asking too much from the little plastic cap.
Another thought is there...
Recently bought a 2013 1.6 D2.
Just replaced the water pump, relevant belts and filters including thermostat.
Long story short, can anyone assist with the relevant torque tension for the thermostat. One forum said M8 screw = 24nm... I raised an eye brow but went for it and as expected...
