The 2013 Volvo XC40 has been caught undergoing testing in Sweden.
Looking virtually production ready, the model is based on the V40 and features a new front bumper, plastic body cladding and an increased ride height.
Engine options will likely carryover, so expect a variety of petrols with outputs ranging from 150 PS (110 kW / 148 hp) to 254 PS (186 kW / 250 hp). On the diesel side, there should be several choices producing between 115 PS (84 kW / 113 hp) and 177 PS (130 kW / 174 hp).
The model is expected to debut at the Paris Motor Show, so expect to learn more in the coming months.
