Hello, Im currently trying to find potentially used airbag module, I would need someone to tell me if there is a real difference based on serial number of the module. My original has number P31429510. I tried to get it reset but all the reset companies told me they are not able to clear the crash data from it. I found other ones online that visually match my old one but have different number like P31406254. I wonder if the system would work properly if I installed module like this in my car. Thank you.

If it is a serial number then they will be unique numbers. You need to compare the part numbers.
