Last night I was fooling around with the light switch. I have been reading in earlier threads that it is not possible to control when to use daylight running lights when it is dark. My switch is always set in Auto position, but last night, standing outside my house, I put it in the parking light position (wow, crazy me). Head lights came off and only the parking light was visible. As I put the car in 1st gear the display told me to switch it back, something I did not do (even more crazy). My surprise was that after two more meters, the daylight running lights turned on. So there I drove off, in the dark, with only the daylight running light visible. So yes, at least on my car, I can use the lover LEDs in the dark. Anyone else tried this?

I have done this, but this does mean your rear lights are not active ? only in braking ?
