theres a few who have fitted a more powerful gas strut so when you press unlock it opens fully. doesnt help with the closing though. I dont recall ever seeing a full electric conversion...

Have you tried Google? I did, and found at least about 4 different options in the UK, but I'm not going to promote them on the forum in case they are no good.

I can see the value for some people, but they seem so slow on most cars it would annoy me living with it! I just want to pull the thing down, and go.
But I am one of those idiots who put the seat belt on after driving off to save almost 4 seconds...
