Hello All,
Anyone had this problem?
I have connected to my home WIFI, also phone, but same problem.
Press the Internet button, then select apps, and this screen pops up.
Anyone manage to fix it?
Or just have to take it to the dealer?

I've not seen that error but I've had problems accessing the Apps and not actually bothered in ages.
I suspect the underlying service is either currently down or has been "retired".

You are not alone. I am facing the same issue with some others VOLVO owners from all over world. It seems that VOLVO servers have issue. I heard that new software required.... When will get feedback from VOLVO service please inform...

What was the last app you used?

It might be that it no longer works.

I haven't used the apps for a few weeks, but when I did the tune in radio app was working fine.

This may not be relevant. I have an S60 (2020) and have been experiencing similar issues with the internet connection to Volvo. Not been connected to the service, not able to see apps etc for a couple of days. Today I switch on and all is back and starts auto downloading map update. Might suggest the issue is/was with Volvo systems and not the car??

As I had to sit around for a while in a hospital car park this morning I checked this out, my Apps (for what it's worth) are available today.
I note that "Send to car" has finally disappeared after it was withdrawn early in 2020.
And the radio App needs some work - I tried to tune to Classic only to be told (verbally) This Station is not available in your country! WTF! Some work needed on the system/servers I think.

That isn't necessarily Volvo's fault. Some stations choose not to be on the Tune-in app.

There was some negative publicity last year when the BBC decided to remove their stations from tunie in on Amazon devices, and for a brief time it affected the app in Volvo cars as well.

Got same issue. Just serviced my car . Dealer said that they might reload software if I want (cost of £120 or £145 five months past warranty), but they can not assure me that this will solve it.

Then find a new dealer - or complain to Volvo UK. A software update is included in the price of a service.

If the apps were working before the service then I would try and hold your dealer to the fact they have performed the software update incorrectly and bricked them. If that is the case they should reinstall the software again free of charge.

I had the RTI update last year and it failed to work the first time. My local dealer took the car back and reinstalled the update. They didn't charge me to do the same job again.

Your dealer has been paid to do a job and they have failed to do it. You shouldn't have to pay them to do it again.

If they push back or try to bill you, I find publicly embarrassing them on their facebook and twitter pages usually gets a fast response.
