Hello everybody! My first post in this forum so I hope you can help me with this one:

My D3 V40 cross country from 2014 does not rev match when upshifting, or it does sometimes. When changing to a higher gear, the car is supposed to hold the rev until the driver has shifted. But on my V40 the revs sometimes drop and I have to rev match manually.

This often happens when the car is cold between 1st and 2nd gear, but sometimes in higher gears aswell. The engine fitted is the D5204T6. What do you guys think can be the reason for this? :)

They only rev match for about 1 second, or less.
It took me an age to get used to as I never used 3rd gear in my old S60. Always went from 2nd to 4th. Sometimes 1st to 3rd.
Gear change felt awful when I got the v40. I've got the hang of it now.

I'm thinking, clutch position sensor or something like that for you two, but I doubt it..
Are you sure you are not just shifting early, and the matching is the normal tick over rpm?
