Brake light not working driver side

Hello, I’ve had my v40 (16 plate) for about a year now and all of a sudden the brake light on the drivers side doesn’t work. The all the other lights on both sides work fully. Tried changing over bulbs, wiggling the bulb when someone’s got their foot on the brake, I’m completely stumped. Any simple things it could be or is it worth just getting an electrician on it?
