Hi , i have Volvo v40 d3 2016 2l diesel automatic gearbox .From few weeks car is attempting to shut the engine off when i reverse , its doing it when forward aswell but aways after i reverse first, any ideas what can be the cause and if is bad? Thanks in advance

Try switching off auto start / stop
I have heard of a few auto cars being too sensitive when changing between forward and reverse

Similar here, I have a "muscle memory" sequence which includes: foot on brake, press start, shut door, seat belt on, stop-start off, check rear view mirror position and a few other things that I forget now.....

Hi , thanks for answering , the problem is that i have the car for 3 years now and never did this before . Started very recently and is worriyng me , basicly is loosing revs and just to go off the revs go up again ?
