D2 R Design Ordered! Quick Question.....

Hi guys,

Very excited, order for Ice White D2 R-Design went in a few weeks ago. The wait is already killing me! I'm hoping that other R-Design owners can shed some light on the drivers seat for me. Is it height adjustable?? Never noticed when test driving etc but just seen the "standards list" on the Volvo website and it suggests that it isn't! Surely a brand new car would have height adjustable seats for the driver. I worry though because I know the R-Design loses a few things as standard like cruise control etc.
Anyone know.....?

Thanks!

The online MY14 Price and Specification brochure for the UK says ............

Height Adjustable Driver Seat for ES and R-Design.
Height Adjustable Tiltable Driver Seat with Lumbar Support for all other variants.

........... so you should be OK.

My MY13 Rdesign (D4) has a height adjustable driving seat (I have it in the lowest position).

I also have a My!$ Cross Country Lux on my fleet and both seats have height adjustment on that
Yes the driver seat is height adjustable, I have my13 r design D2. Not sure about passenger seat haven't sat in it! Agree with what has been said in other thread, it really does take a while to get the seat position correct. Still not sure it's right after four weeks, to scared to adjust it again in case I don't get it back to where it is now.
You are going to love your new car.
