I've just bought a Maxton Design rear diffuser and I'm looking for tips from anyone who's already fitted one..

1. The website says to use Tiger Seal, which I'm fine with but the diffuser also comes with self-tapping screws? Any tips if these should be used and how to conceal the heads?

2. The holes for the reversing sensors are quite large (I'm assuming it's too allow the sensors to fully function). How have people sealed around the holes against the original diffuser? Has anyone smoothed/gloss painted the sensors to match the new diffuser and if so, does this effect the sensor functionality?

I've never heard of one - or of anyone fitting one,

But I do recall somewhere on the site someone saying that replacement sensors come in black and had to be painted to be colour coded to the bumpers.

as far as I could tell, the holes are designed to expose the factory sensor and dont need to be sealed? Not on a V40 but an Audi the screws were along the lower edge, fella used a thin bead of windscreen bond not bothering with the screws

Thanks guys, appreciate the replies!

I'm hoping to avoid use of the screws (in case I ever want to try and revert). From my 'dry test' fits, I'll likely need to use Tiger Seal around the sensor holes as the fit isn't absolutely 100%.
