Volvo specialty tuner and motorsports team Heico Sportiv has announced they are working at top speed to meet demand for a tuning package for the recently revealed Volvo V40 hatchback.

Looking at the provided preview sketches we can see 7 spoke wheels plus an aggressively styled front bumper fascia, lower reaching side skirts and rear bumper which houses a modest diffuser and quad exhaust oval pipes.
Heico reminds us that they already have an e.motion ECU module for the new T5 engine that boosts power from the standard 240 PS (177 kW / 237 bhp) to 270 PS (198 kW / 266 bhp). Torque also increases from 320 (236 lb-ft) to 365 Nm (269 lb-ft), as well as top speeds by 5 km/h (3 mph).

The e.motion ECU module comes with a 60 months warranty.

This is interesting....especially as it seems the T5 has already been removed from the UK online config site. Maybe the T5 will live on in the US or Europe.

That reference must be to the 4 cyl 2L plant in the Euro/Aus spec S60/XC60 T5 which comes standard with 177kw/320Nm.

@ Marc - I'm not surprised that the T5 has been removed in the UK, given its pricing (and reviews) against the M135i. In Aus, the M135i is $65K before on-roads and options, making it at least 30% dearer than the V40 T5 R-Design. Also, our road tax and fuel prices are better matched for larger engines...

But the Heico kit looks awesome. the quad pipes fit the rear perfectly

sorry but it does not look much different to the standard kit, it needs a better spoiler so real lowering springs would be better than simply extending the bumpers and skirts to make it look lower

Does anyone know if fitting the 'HEICO SPORTIV dual outlet sport exhaust V40CC (526) D3, D4' system will void any UK warranties on the car?
