I'm mark from northumberland, had my 69 plate v40 r design 2.0 d2 for 2 week now and my word I like it, comfy as it can be, smooth, feels sooooo well made, lacks a bit of grunt but speed limit is 70 so hey ho, and for a 2 litre lump i think I'm getting 60mpg, crackers! Anyway, stay well peoples.

Enjoy that 60 mpg! I'm in my 18th month with mine and agree, the D2 is never going to to pull much more than skin off a rice pudding, but I'm happy to bank the savings! Best of all, having come out of petrol Vauxhalls at almost 300 quid a year to tax, mines pre April '17 so its zero

mine is on 53 as an average, does a daily 7 mile country lane commute. Sat at a steady speed a 100 mile ish journey returned over 70 average.
I refuelled and the range showed over 900 miles, it does have the bigger tank...

Well my v40 will hopefully be a part time adi car soon, so I'm hoping for 50mpg plus, we have lightweight touring van to pull too, haven't been instructor for 10 years, but doing it again, wife problems that one tractor driver won't cover etc etc lol

Still good for a 2 litre lump, I think the looks and equipment make up for it
