On monday I will be fetching my 2013 v40,has the rear wiper got a rain sensor?
Ive never heard of this on cars but think of how usefull it would be!

Unfortunately it doesn't. It is a great idea though. Maybe link it to the auto sensor on the front.

I think its own sensor would be best,Volvo? Are you reading this?

Not sure it would be a good thing personally. The rear screen gets far cackier than the front, and an auto function without a good spray first may lead to glass scratches/blade wear/smearing. I'm thinking road grime on the screen, a few drops of rain triggers the wiper..... Smeeeeear. Just my thoughts.

I must admit I don't often use the rear wiper except in very heavy rain.

Only washed the car 3 times in 20 months and the rear window is pretty clean.
