At last! My V40 is sat on my drive and all I can say is WOW!
I collected her last night and had a hectic drive home on a dark, rainy Friday night.
What is it with Friday night traffic?? I was nervous enough as it was, driving a brand new car without some jerk tailgating me. And then, a mile from home I got to test the brakes...after an idiot pulled out of a junction across the front of me. The EBD kicked in and stopped the car dead. But I honestly thought the car could have been an insurance write off within an hour of me getting it.
I've had a drive today. Fine tuned all the settings and really felt like a kid in sweet shop. It really is a great car to drive and I've not enjoyed driving a car so much in years.

Pity there isn't an optional add-on of laser guided missiles
Forgot to mention Patrick, the approach light bug hasn't shown itself on my car. I know it's not a function I'll use much. But it's handy to have when trying to find your car in a huge airport car park after a week away.

Emergency Brake Distribution. Basically, an updated version of ABS to stop the car sliding when you have to perform an emergency stop.
