Hi all!

Nice to see you here and it seems that the community starts building up.

Just a short introduction: I placed an order in Greece last Monday for a V40 ice white, T4 kinetic edition with the following addons:

Digital panel
Xenon lights
Premium hifi
Cruise control
Parking sensors, rear only
Auto rain and light sensors

Expected delivery is mid to end Nov and of course I can't wait fot it:)

So far I haven't heard from anyone else to orde a T4 which makes me think that I might have made a mistake...

Cheers,
John

Thank you guys for the warm welcome! I will keep you posted on any updates on my order.

@jimrask I test drove a D2 and while it's not that fast, it has a lot of torque when you want it. So overall I would it has good performance especially for driving around the city.

p.s. I was between the new series 1 and v40 and finally ordered the v40. I also own the previous model of series 1 but all the gadgets and technology of v40 caught my full attention this time:)

Hi Patrickv,

I really can't wait since I read your comment:)

I wanted to ask you regarding the average fuel consumption since I saw on a video that it's 13l/100km which seems extremely high. I was thinking of an average of 10l more or less.

Thanks!

Currently I am on 8,6l/100km..
which is still fairly high..
8.0 should be possible...
the factory indication of 5.5l/100 is absolutely nonsense... ;)

Wow 8.6 sounds fantastic for me. I know that manufacturer's estimations are always unreal so I had in mind a consumption of 10l so 8.6 is way better that I have been expecting. I guess it will go down to 8 after a few thousand kilometers. These happens with most new cars.
