Has anybody fitted the above and if so have you noticed any real differences?

I'd interested to hear comments on this - I've used many after after market filters in the past on high performance petrol turbo cars and few gave any noticeable power increase. Cleaning and not having to be replaced every service was the only main benefits I ever saw.
Haven't bothered since going diesel. I did read an interesting thread recently (may have been even on here) about aftermarket filters on diesels not having any effect as a modern diesel engine operates in an excess of air so improved flow rates from filters is a moot point.

I put one on a 165 Bravo Sport and really made a difference. I'm hoping on the D4 there would be some improvement and hopefully increase the nice rauty 5cyl engine note

Find some videos of the actual filtering ability of these aftermarket filters and then decide if you want one fitted to your engine
