Just stopping to fill up the lovely V 40 D2 i noticed the belly pan hanging 5-10 cm below the front, still attached at the back. Have anyone else experienced this coming loose. I just duckt taped it back on to close the gap, can I just screw this back on myself?

Take a closer look at the fittings/mounting of the pan. If it looks simple to reattach just by a couple of bolts for example, then go ahead. But if it isn't obvious, and maybe if there is damage to it, then I would have taken it to a workshop.
