I'm having trouble streaming music from my iPhone 4. It will play one or two tracks but then freezes after a track and won't carry on no matter what I do to the phone or audio controls. it behaves the same whether on Bluetooth or plugged into the USB. Is it a phone compatibility thing? The hands free works fine.

Works fine for me with iPhone 5c and Spotify.

Got another phone you can try?

Sadly not with any music on. I'll try my son's ipod via the USB to see if that works. I'm just putting all my music onto a USB dongle to try it that way.

are you picking i-phone from the menu and not USB to play from the Iphone ?

No insult intended - it's just I tried playing my I-phone 5 this morning by picking USB and it wouldn't play but fine on the i-phone option - however I wasn't sure if it was using USB or Bluetooth till I unplugged the wire when I got to work and the music stopped.
