At least, this was what I was told yesterday, when my new Volvo V40 was unveiled for me to take it away!
A D2 Momentum, Biarritz Blue, leather Blue Azur seats, Mannan 17" wheels, etc. Blue Azur disappeared from possilble selections on the greek site, as it will be available for cars to be delivered from February, 2013 and on.
Promise to post photos as soon as possible.

A happy owner !!! :)

RE: First V40 to be registered in Greece.

As promised, here are some photos (a few!).
Description, once more:
V40 D2 Momentum, 94 gr/km (a great motivation for me this low CO2 emission!)
Biaritz Blue, Leather Blue Azur, Style package (8'' TFT display, rear parking sensors, rear camera, illuminated gear knob, Parking assist pilot), daylight LEDs, 17'' Mannans.
450 kms already, consumption around 4.5 lt/100 km (shared in and out of the city).

RE: First V40 to be registered in Greece.

Further impressions after a 1270 kms trip around Greece.
Nice ride on all kinds of roads, a bit unstable steering wheel (compared to a simple hydraulic that my previous car was equipped with). Suggestion was that I degrade a bit the tire pressure - and it worked, although, being an absolute fan of economy, I was using the "Eco" pressure. Other systems working fine, like rain sensor, tunnel sensor, the sound system, start - stop, etc.
Satisfied up to now.
Not many heads turning to look when on the road, but the car always causes admiring comments when stopped at gas stations.
And, I would like to show to you, if that was possible, the expressions on my friends faces when they heard that, in terms of petrol (price adjusted, according to the comparative prices of the two fuels in Greece), consumption was around 4 lt/100 kms!

A nice, sunny, almost summer day today in Northern Greece. A chance for a medium trip of 270 kms. Impressions are getting better and better. Total kms have gone up to 2100, in about a month. Consumption still at 5,1 lt/100 kms.

RE: First V40 registered in Thessaloniki, Greece. (with a few photos)

A rainy day, makes me think that I have to decide whether I will go for winter tires or not.
Not that much snow or ice in Greece, but lots of rain and mud.
I am thinking of 16'' wheels (205/55/16). Any different ideas? Any proposition on tires?
And of course, a lot will depend on the price.

Heavy rain, no way to get out ! Time for browsing in the past. Here are two photos of my previous car. I go for the lines, for sure. An "honest" car, I have to say ...
