Just having a bit of a guess here not been totally familiar with the UK Volvo market but I suspect your "V40 1.9td estate" is not the current model V40. This forum is concerned with the current model V40 (ie MY13 onwards). Not sure if newfoundlands could fit into the back of the current V40 unless the back seats were folded down. If I'm wrong I apologise - if correct you are still more than welcome to hang around.
