Hi, I have my new V40 D2 R-design about a month now and I’ve noticed the front windows have become squeaky particularly in the ‘down’ mode. The rear windows are a lot quieter. My last car was a ‘one series’ BMW and the window movement was practically silent, so I really notice the difference.
Is there anything I can do to reduce the noise such as a spray etc. or is it a trip to the dealers?

I tried rubbing a candle as you suggested this morning and I'm afraid no luck. As this is only happening on the driver side and on the downward movement I think I'll pop in to the dealers for an inspection. I'll keep you posted with the outcome.
