Hello everyone. I have a v40 diesel cross-country with a problem that has shown up after a long drive through france in 35 degree temperature. A turtle came up and reduced engine performance. I was thinking of getting obd reader to try to figure out what the issue might be.can anyone recommend one that's not too expensive.ps also at what mileage should the timing belt be replaced.

What is the age of the car and the model of diesel engine (there was more than one, eg the D2 came in 1.6 and 2.0 variants depending on age, as well as some differences between D3, 4 and 5)
