Hope Helpful.

I tried downloading mine for volvo but gave me an error. :/
Great find. I have read it in full and found two errors and pretty much committed most of it to memory.
Hoping this will save time for when I pick her up I can play straightaway.
Doesnt tell you how to sync your mobile to the Bluetooth though if anyone has this. Im guessing through the My Car menus?
A warm welcome to the forum Hel_IRoll & congrats on choosing the V40... I'm confident you wont be disappointed as it is a great car :)

Sensus Connect is a pretty powerful beast & it actually has its own manual that is almost as thick as the owners manual!
The only thing I would add is once you have paired your phone check for an option on your paired phone like "Allow notifications" or similar.
This will enable the car to access & read out received SMS messages.
Reading them aloud to you will become an option within the Sensus Connect phone menu once a compatible phone is paired.

Phone connection is pretty straightforward... You can basically search for your phone with the car or vice versa as shown below.
I've pinched this straight out of my saved pdf of the Sensus connect manual.

1. Make your phone discoverable via bluetooth
In the normal view for the phone source,
press OK/MENU and select Search new
phone (for media device Search new
device).
2. The car will now search for available
Bluetooth® devices, which can take
approx. one minute.
3. Select the Bluetooth® device in the list to
be connected, confirm with OK/MENU.
4. Check that the specified number code in
the car matches that in the external
device. In which case, choose to accept
in both places.
5. Choose in the phone to accept or reject
any options for phone contacts and messages.
6. The external device is now connected.
If the connection failed, press EXIT and connect
the device as described under Alternative
2.

Alternative 2 - Search for the car with
the Bluetooth® function of the external
device
1. In the normal view for the phone source,
press OK/MENU, select Make car
discoverable and confirm with OK/
MENU.
2. Search with the external device for
Bluetooth® devices.
The device will now search for available
Bluetooth® devices, which can take
approx. one minute.
3. Select the car's name on the external
device's screen.
4. Check that the specified number code in
the car matches that in the external
device. In which case, choose to accept
in both places.
5. Choose in the phone to accept or reject
any options for phone contacts and messages.
> The external device is now connected.
When the external device is connected, the
external device's Bluetooth® name is shown
in the car's display screen and the device can
be controlled from the car.

Don't forget a pic for us when she arrives!
Enjoy :wink2:

If you have an Android phone, watch for a screen asking whether you want the phone to always accept the connection, and ensure you tick the box. Can't remember the words, but if you don't tick the box, then you have to relink the phone every time you start the car.
