Hi, to start I’ve had a few V40’s, all R-designs.
Not really changed because I love the drive and feel of them.
I recently bought a 2017 D2 R-Design but it’s a bit sluggish compared to my 2016 one. I’ve had a carbon clean and tried to sort it out but the power still isn’t there like it was in my previous one.
I’ve read up on what’s available in terms of remapping just to add a bit of edge but was wondering would the engine, turbo and components withstand the power gain. The car currently stands at 118bhp and have been quoted between 159bhp-198bhp.

The 159bhp I was quoted seems more realistic but would the car’s components handle it?
Also, has anybody got any firsthand experience with mapping a D2 and if they’ve had any strain or issues with the car so far?

I’ve read up on some previous forums but not really gotten a clear answer. Any advice would be appreciated.

I haven't got experience of it.

But have you looked at vdash?

You can decode and perform a stage 1 and/or stage 2 yourself if interested.

Google vdash, I'm tempted myself.
