Ah, well we got to test the auto-high beam late last night. Great feature. Now the only thing is that we tend to be more on the "polite" side and drop the high beams whenever we notice a car a little further away (and especially around corners...though more difficult when going up a hill). Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the timing? Or distance? You know, like having it turn off earlier?

I highly, highly doubt there is as I can imagine this is a safety feature and that it would have to be well calibrated. But it never hurts to ask.

I know on the S90 you can adjust the sensitivity, but I never had the feature on my V40 so can't confirm you can do it.
If it is possible it will be in the lighting menu on the infotainment system.

Sorry, just getting back to this, but yeah, I checked that and no adjustment there. It does state clearly in the manual that you should watch it going up a hill or around a bend. So it's known. I've read many love it, so...just gonna love it!

On my S90 I have it set to the most sensitive setting and it still gets fooled by bends or hills. It's just that the sensor needs a clear line of sight to the lights of the other vehicle and unlike us humans it can't turn its head left and right to see what is coming
