Alot more publicity for the new V40 recently so expect more people to find this forum - like me 
The V40 seems to be attracting lots of interest in the UK at the moment but especially over in the Netherlands, where i think you lucky people (Michel) wil be taking deliveries of the first batch very soon.

Most of the dutch people who ordered the V40 are on the biggest dutch volvoforum (www.volvo-forum.nl).
Did try to get them to here but no succes so far..
Was the same on the C30world.com forum.. We (dutch) where one of the first on that forum but over run with all the US and UK.. But that slow down when the production stops completely in the Autumn.

BTW, I finally managed to get a spot and test-drive an automatic (it's a pity they didn't have manual) D3 V40 two days ago and it was super! The engine is quite powerful, I got easily to 140km/h without really pushing it at all. The car was very stable on the road, with a good feeling on the steering wheel; not too strong, not too soft.
I really loved driving it, I wish I could keep it more than one hour so that I could enjoy it more!

Haven't received my car yet, so there is not much to contribute with.. yet! It should have been here this week, now I hope it will arrive in the next week.
17 members signed in within the last 24 hours, and that's not even counting the people who are simply browsing and have not registered yet (please register!). If each of those 17 members made only five posts, there would have been 85 new posts within the last 24 hours. The forum will be busier in due time. There will be more to discuss once more individuals have V40s. I thank those that login everyday and contribute their thoughts. The forum cannot spring into bloom without the initial momentum from the first members.MichelR said:
