I see there has been much discussion about ride on r design models, but cant see that anyone has done the 17 down to 16 swap and did it work. Love the car but it's too jiggly on anything but smooth roads.

Before you swap the wheels, check the tyre pressures are at "comfort" psi not 40psi. The 16 inch has a larger side wall, so is slightly more forgiving on our wonderful roads. Also need to check the 16 goes over your brake calliper, in particular the front. And some might suggest to inform insurance as they'll likely consider it a modification.
Or... as the CC version has a larger sidewall, look at fitting 225/50/17 tyre which also will be slightly more forgiving

Thanks for that, discs should not be a problem on D2 but will check. Would like to hear from anyone who has done it first. Has anyone swapped for softer springs?
