Has anybody fitted an aftermarket Rear Parking Camera? I have looked at many options and all seem to have Pro's and Con's.
I have been quoted around £500 fitted for the Volvo system which wires to the head unit and would be preferred but is too much money.
Alternatives are for a separate monitor but there aren't too many places for it on windscreen or dashboard without seriously obstructing the view ahead.
Third option is mirror mounted, these fit over the existing rearview mirror but are quite large and I think tolerances might be tight between top edge of existing mirror and the headlining.
I will be hardwiring it to look as OEM as possible.
Suggestions and especially pictures if anyone has done this.

My brother in law as a mirror dash cam which as a rear view camera fitted in a Volvo v70 ,and I used to have a similar system in a Kia Pro Cee'd and it worked great, as is was a dual screen I could put it on front view,back view ( if I had a lot of stuff in the back which restricted my view or both at once , so I never needed to wire it up to my reversing lights .
