Actually seems a waste when you could have had V40 T5 with standard 240 HP and 400Nm torque off the showroom
Find me a T5 immaculate R design (All high spec Volvo extra's) showroom condition with one owner from new 18000 on the clock full Volvo service/ Maintenance for £11k and I will 😂

Quitting this forum, thought it was for V40 enthusiasts, obviously not! 👋
Thanks for the support guys, I really do think it's about time some people got real, yes if I could find a T5 in similar condition as my car, yeah I would probably purchase. Also all this stuff about, why I didn't upgrade the turbo? Well! I tried my best to explain that earlier in the thread. Guys we are here to help each other, not judge or criticise. 🤟

T5s are difficult to find as I know only too well. Once we decided that was what we wanted (Cross Country too, for the all-wheel drive, that much power through the front wheels is really too much) it took ages to obtain one, must have been 6 to 9 months! That was an ex-demonstrator.
Then we Polestarred it, so much more "driveability" from the crisper gearbox and mid-range power. 👍
But good luck with what you're aiming for.

Hi folks, So we started out about 4 weeks ago with a really nice standard V40 T2 R design 2018 with just 18000 miles on the clock and one previous owner. Since then; Re mapped, upgrades to intercooler, fly wheel, valves and injectors. In addition, some paint work. As a middle age 55 year old guy I'm treating this as a bit of hobby car not wanting it to look like a "boy racer" car. But!!!!! I can't stop thinking about an exhaust upgrade now. I suppose it's a bit like getting a tattoo, once you start you can't stop lol. Any advice on a suitable exhaust system that doesn't make the car sound ridiculous? Something effective but subtle is what I am looking for.

Regarding the remap, did you use one of the BSR ones or have a custom tune?

All T5s are AWD aren't they?
