I have V40 D3 cc geartronic 2014. it's now 100k km (62k miles). A mechanic just did an oil change for the transmission. but after that i feel humming sound with more vibration in the car. also i noticed that there's some sort of 1 second delay when accelerating. any idea what could it be?

Thanks guys. I took the car to the dealer and he checked the transmission and it was Ok Now after software reset and doing update the Car feel much better. I still have the humming noise with vibration. Dealer told me to change the tires first to check but i just discovered that it’s more pronounced when my foot leaves the accelerator and the RPM reach 1300 - 1100 no matter which gear or speed. I’m sure it’s not because of the tires. Any idea what could it be?

sometimes the noise from other components appears under load, such as the alternator, or a belt tensioner, and vibrations can distract the ear! But in all honesty, i think your correct with the dealer not diagnosing, partly because theres very few gear box specialists these days, they seem scared of them. Maybe find an independent specialist for some advice
