Sticking clutch pedal

Mine after 6 months of owning had that creak in the clutch peddle and a bit stuck half way.
I replaced the spring in it myself and that didn't really help, then I modified the spring to make it less fierce, but that didn't fully fix the issue.
2 trips to volvo under warranty and they replaced the clutch peddle frame which they has can warp.

I'd spent ages trying to fix the issue so had a good look at what they did. The new frame has an additional, or modified bolt in it that attaches to the car. Bit of a random position, but it stops the frame from flexing slightly which causes the clutch peddle to stick when returning back at around half way.

It is now over 3 years on, and it's been fine ever since.

I'll get a picture if people are interested.

Chiptivo, can you please post a picture of your new clutch assembly to can compare with ours to see what version we have - old one, or the new one.
Thank you.

Ok. So you can see next to the bottom left NUT bracket a really solid rivet that I think stops the frame from shifting that little bit.

@chiptivo,
Here is what is on my car MY18, actually manufactured in 2017.
I suppose that there can be some difference in clutch pedal mounting frame, pure due to the fact, that your car is RHD and my is LHD. But what you think, is it the "old" or the "new" version?
I see that the spring is different. And also, see the top white plastic on top of the spring. On your version it looks that is rotating around some metal part of the clutch pedal. But on mine it it seems is just black plastic.

This rivet was added after my pedal was changed/modified after a year of complaining and moaning. Slightly different position due to RHD/LHD
