I used Blackfire http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/blackfire-wet-diamond-kit.html. There are two polishes, the first prepares the surface and leaves a reasonable polish, the second gives a really smart gloss finish. It does depend on the colour of your car though. Go to http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/car-care-advice.html, it is a useful webpage. I emailed them and was very pleased with the considerate advice they gave. I prepared and polished mine when I first got it, and have only had to re-polish about twice since.

I've just bought a load more Autoglym Super Resin Polish and Extra Gloss Protection, but to be honest, I'm not that impressed with the finish on my car - it could be shinier.

I'm thinking of trying OptiSeal next time. It gets good write-ups in the Detailing Forums.

Just get some quality cleaning gear, these 'seals' do not give a good finish and do not last.

Ok if you have a 'shopping trolley' that only gets treated to a £5 hand car wash every couple of weeks then go for it but if you intend looking after your car get some decent gear, but be warned it can get addictive.......

Blackfire

I also use the blackfire products and found them to be very good, l used the gloss enhancing polish, all finish paint protection, and the wet diamond polymer spray , I now have a very shiny rebel blue V40, they do suggest using different products for different colours.
I emailed polish bliss and told them the colour of my V40 and they emailed me a list of the polishes and cleaners they would recommend for my car, they were very helpful and I have been impressed with the results.
