I've been looking for a post about this for a while because I want the remap so badly, how does the 100hp increase feel? Incredible they can increase it by that much in one go.
It does feel like a completely different car now, as you'd expect a 2.0T engine should feel like.
I think the reason you can get so much hp from a remap alone is that the turbo doesn't boost at all past 4000 ish rpm or so bsr says.
With this remap it has ok torque low down but you do need to rev the engine to get the power, i'd say it peaks around 5500rpm in terms of acceleration force.
1st and 2nd gear feel torque limited to me, in 3rd it feels very quick, I also run the car on 99 ron which i'd say does make it a bit faster again.

I think I might have a problem with running this remap though. On the website it says its for 2016 cars with the T38 engine variant. My volvo has the T38 variant but is registered for 2015 do you think the remap will still work? I contacted BSR support via email but got no replies. I think it should be okay but I thought I should make sure before I buy anything.

I can't see why it wouldn't work, you can contact them via a web form on the website instead of emailing, they answer quick on there for me at least.
