I upped the value on my 2017MY T2 when I renewed the insurance a few months ago. A check on current values indicated that it is worth around £1K more than I paid for it as a 1 month old dealer pre-reg. But with still ongoing production issues, delays and cancellations on new car orders, I think similar increases in value apply to any car, not just the V40.
