I had a pipe leak and got it replaced. Refilled coolant but the car now keeps on saying high temperature please stop safely. Gauge also goes up. What could be the problem. The water doesn't boil but after some time the water bottle is empty. Need so assistance please. 2.0 Litre Petrol automatic

Check for airlocks or bubbles in the system. Bleed the system and make sure you set the heating to full hot as well when you do it to ensure the entire system is purged.
