At last the wait is over....6 weeks from placing order.
The Car looks stunning..even the basic D2 ES.
Mine is Black sapphire with 17" Segomo alloys which I'm so pleased i paid for. They are light grey (not silver) and look great with the Black.
It's much more powerful that i thought and very smooth. Motorway, it has plenty of power for overtaking even in 6th gear. I had a 140bhp Golf TDI before and to be honest there isn't that much in it.
I've only driven a few miles so far so still feeling my way around.
Got the Bluetooth working after realising you need to plug it in USB first to get it paired, but first impressions are phone and music audio are excellent. Controls are good but this is my first experience of this kind so nothing to compare against.
Tried to get the coloured ambient lighting working but even though i can set the different colours and see a small led near the compartment light buttons above with the colour i choose, it doesn't light up the cabin. Maybe an option i haven't got ??
Rear view vision is poor but doesn't bother me, the car feels big inside and out and very solid. Very comfortable and handles speed bumps etc with ease.
I'm still annoyed that when i got home the car was filthy!!
Apparently volvo guy had driven it 70 miles to my house and apologised for the state of it because the Dealers car wash was frozen...so he was going to clean it and then drive 70 miles in these current conditions..eh ?
I'll post some more pics of it in daylight (clean) but here's how dirty it was...the side on was after a wash at dusk.
