Would the V40 make a good British Touring Car?
Well, BMW are there with the EBAY Motors 1-series, Audi with Rob Austin's A4 and rumours of an A3 entry, and Ciceley switching from a Toyota Avensis to a new Merc A-class, so all the other "premium hatch" marques are there - so why not. Even if not a full factory / Polestar effort like the Swedish Touring S60 or the Aussie V8, then the BTCC rules may encourage a privateer over the next couple of years..@rottie...good post Sir! It would only make a good proposition if BMW, Audi and Mercedes were involved and on our side, Messrs. Polestar "chipped" in.
