As far as I know the D2 does not come with twin tail pipes. Mores the pitty. Did you order the panoramic sunroof?

You can get the double exhaust with the optional exterior styling kit. ;)
Also got the optional rear roofspoiler.. Because the standard D2 spoiler is not that nice looking.. (at least my idea)

Did not got the panoramic roof because I don't see the use of it since I will be driving alone in the car most of the time.
Panoramic roof is useful if you got passengers on the backseat.

Also got a Passion Red C30 so used to the color.

And makes the car look more sportive..

Hi all!
Really like the car, ticks all the boxes for me (except my wife hates it, she thinks it's an old man's car??).
I'm just hanging on until my local dealer gets the demonstrator in before ordering. Spec will be...

V40 D2 ES
Active TFT Driver Display
17” Mannan Alloys
P10G Blonde Leather interior
Rain Sensor with Auto Wiper

In this spec it's £550 cheaper a year to run for me than the equiv BMW 1 series and £900 cheaper than the equiv Audi A3, more if you include the daily London congestion charge. My previous cars are (in reverse order) BMW 1 series, BMW 5 series, Audi A4, Golf GT Tdi. Having BMWs for the last 5yrs I'm just sick of sliding around in the snow, seriously... I prefer to take my wife's Punto on the 70mile commute into London than either of the BMWs if there is snow on the ground.

The one thing I'm lost on is the COLOUR, would appreciate some help on this, I like the red but my wifes Punto is red, my previous 4 cars have been either black, silver or white and I'm looking for something different.

What colours are you all leaning towards?

Cheers!

Color is very personal.. At you're Volvo dealer you can have a look at the color samples.

When I ordered my first new C30 (1997) it was also not in de showrooms yet.
Only seen it on photo's. But the shape of the C30 very sporty I immediately knew it had to be Passion Red.

My last 2x new C30 where Passion Red. The (old) V40 before that was racing blue (smurf blue).

I ordered again a Passion Red because I like the look.. Sporty.
And now I seen it in Real Life last Satarday and looks great.. (posted photo's here).
But Biarritz blue is in Real Life also nice color.

Also small part of the choice is the cost of the metalic colors.

Like to stand out between all the dull colors.. And be not just one like everybody else. Black, grey and white.
I can easily find my car in the parking lot. :)

Best is to go with you're gut feeling.

I've chosen a D2 with Momentum trim level. I guess it's equal to SE, glass roof, LED display and upgraded audio. On, and it's Caspian blue.

It will be linke this:

Jens-Peter, Your configured car looks very smart in Caspian blue, that's one of the 4 colours on my short list. Although the colour is a little different on the UK website, it's a deeper blue. I prefer your colour pics, what Volvo website are you using? Your views of the configured car are also far better than I can find on the UK website.

Thanks for the pics

GusGecko: Yes i persume it is. It's the standard on the Momentum. It would have been nice to get the "Ailos", but they costs 20.000 kr (£2100) so I decided to upgrade the audio and get the LED-display package instead.

London_2012: I use the swedish iPad app, "Bygg Din Volvo" (Build your Volvo) http://itunes.apple.com/dk/app/bygg-din-volvo/id514870132?mt=8 and thats where the screenshot is taken too. The car configurator is not yet available on the danish website.

Aaah that's a shame. You could always get aftermarket wheels... They do let it down a bit in my opinion. Are they 16's?
