Almost got my V40.

Arrived at the dealer this afternoon..
And they started work on her immediately.
Get things ready to place the stylingkit, exhausts and sport spoiler.

Dealer is getting the new licence registration tomorrow so I can update my insurance and so on.

Going fast now..

It looks good (but even better, when the wheels are attached ) and it's pretty cool they let you in to see it like that!

Did they mention the door rattle? Mine is supposed to arrive this week or beginning of next week - cant wait!

Went to dealer in the afternoon after work to see my V40.
But was already on the bridge and the mechanics where working on my car.
So could not take picture with wheel on..

But original wheel are being replaced by my current 18" Midir..
Stock 17" Mannan will be fitted with winter tyres.

Just heard from dealer.. Monday 16:00 I can pick up my new V40..

Back from the Black forest in south of Germany.

Took my car there wednesday and stayed there until this morning.
Got my V40 on monday so was a good drive-in of the engine.

Really helps driving in the engine in de mountains..

Lots of tight curvy roads there. Steep climbs and drops..
My V40 D2 performed great there..

Was great fun driving around there. Hairpin corners and so on..

18" and sport suspension did there work perfect on the roads there..
Today on my way back home i drove a while 190 km/u and car performed well..
Stable and steady only hold back by slow germans.. LOL

So already have 2185 km on the counter..
Fuel consumption not representative off course due to the fast driving in the hills, climbing and descending.
And driving (real) fast on the german autobahn.
Consumption is now 4.8 L/100km

That looks great. I have gone for the red and not having seen one first hand, I am glad I have. You are always a bit weary when all you have to make a choice is a 6" piece of 'red' plastic in the showroom. :thumbup:
