After a couple of days trying out various different V40s, it became abundantly clear that Volvo’s new baby deserves to be a big hit. It’s well equipped for the price, supremely comfortable, feels poised on back-roads and relaxed on motorways, and offers a uniquely welcoming interior. It’s not perfect, by any means, but it deserves a full deck of five stars in my book.
