Well...I'm back from Geneva...what an experiance! Backstage passes to the Volvo 'green room' at the show and the biggest surprise was VIP passes to a private party with our own V40 to look at away from the crowds, C30 electric and 'Concept You' in the flesh! What a machine.

Bad news - I didn't take hardly any photos. Partly down to the whole thing was proffesionally videoed (interviews and all sorts - cringe!), partly beacuse the car itself has been snapped plenty of times but MOSTLY because you just have to see it in person...its just a stunning car.

Beautiful dials and instruments, amazing quality feel, words can't descibe how nice this car is. Really good space in the back (for adults I might add) good size boot (sorry trunk) Can't wait to test drive. Inside scope is - volvo are working on the R Design version of the car which will apparently have its own indiviual colours and spec. I'm trying to get involved in the test drives that are happening before being relased to the public at the Goodwood race track to really try the engines.

I tried to be objective towards this new car, after looking at the latest focus, golf a3 and 1 series..this truly blows them out of the water. The bmw is sooooo bland and boring, the golf...is still justa golf nothing special, again a3 still plain and boring (inside and out) then there's this! Such a nice place to be!!

An acquaintance of mine recently appeared in a Ford ad, and is now being offered all sorts of ad gigs as a result -- maybe you're the next spokesman for Volvo?

Haha highly unlikely, not with my dodgy acting skills...its not online yet, its all being edited I guess. I'll post it on here when its on youtube etc.

When this car is released and more people know about it, this forum will be flying I'm sure

I does have a pretty decent size boot/trunk/cargo if that is what your refering to. Pretty competetive with the rest of the cars of this size.
