If it's the digital TFT DIM a Volvo dealer has to reprogram it. The only other option is VDash software, but it requires you to crack the security code first, which can take time, and the DIM reprogramming is still chargeable.

A Volvo DICE VCI (a good clone will do) a fairly powerful PC or laptop close enough to be able to connect it to the car via the DICE, and an internet connection, preferably wired.

See the VDash website for full information.

Yes, the odometer will change, along with km/l to mpg etc.

What year model is your car? I have a 2016 model which can easily be changed on the middle cluster display under car settings...
Do you have the analogue DIM (easily changed in the on board menu) or the TFT digital DIM (can be configured to display km or miles in the small display under the main gauges by cycling through the display options via the left stalk, but it can't be changed from UK to EU global settings without reprogramming)?

The layout has changed since I last logged in, but it does say configuration change supported. Ick on the cog wheel icon top right next to the time and date. Is there an option there for CEM PIN decode? If not, what happens if you attempt to add a config change to the basket. Does it prompt for the PIN decode routine then?

I know that they split availability of various modifications to different account subscription levels, but my understanding was that CEM decoding was still free and universally available, as it is required for any type of config change.

Try raising a support ticket or asking on D5T5's Facebook page.
