From the Volvo press release:

Volvo said:
The interior programme has three main colour themes: Charcoal, Charcoal/Blond, or Espresso/Blond. Leather seats are also available in a new Azure Blue accent colour.

Textiles are certified according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100. Leather surfaces are chrome-free. The “Clean Compartment” scheme is recommended by the Swedish Asthma & Allergy organisation

Slim, floating centre stack

The all-new V40 features Volvo’s iconic ultra-slim centre stack, now in a more sculpted version than in previous models. The centre stack comes as standard in charcoal. Modern Wood, Shimmer Graphite and Centre Court (tennis-inspired look with a red stripe) are options.

The centre stack has a Silk Metal Chrome finish frame that enhances the décor. The same finish is also found in the doors and on the Instrument panel as well as around the centre display, outer air vents, start button and gearshift gaiter.
Let's gather photos of all the different interiors in this thread.

Niiiiiice. Probably the best interior, I don't like black and dark colours

I agree, lighter interior is in general nicer and makes the car feel more spacious.

Despite this, I chose charcoal/charcoal/black as I personally think it suits the white exterior of my V40 and is far more practical with a child. The white thread on the semi-vinyl seats, included in Momentum package, makes a nice contrast with the dark interior, gives the interior a sporty look and matches the white exterior. I have been told the white thread is of a material easy to clean, so it should be baby friendly as well.

For all exteriors except Ice White and Misty Blue, if I would not have a small child, I would go for charcoal/blond/blond or at least charcoal/charcoal/blond.

I went for the charcoal interior too, purely because of the child reason. It would just start to look grubby.
If it was just for me then blonde all the way. It looks so smart.
Shame there isn't a charcoal headlining option. Once you've gone all black on everything else it would be nice to do that part also.
I used to have an A3 S-line and the all black interior looked nice.

I chose Charcoal/Charcoal/Blond T-Tech (code P520) to my Biarrizt Blue V40. Has anyone seen a real car or a video clip with such an interior?

Besides the car configurator on Volvos website I haven’t seen any pictures or videos and I’m a bit nervous how that’s going to turn out.

I've chosen the same interior Pete. I'm hoping it will wear well and not get grubby.

I chose P50G Blond Dynamic colour for the Upholstery and Shimmer Graphite Aluminium Trim with the exterior colour 705 Biarritz Blue.

I ended up going for Charcoal as the car is a work vehicle and I end up going to a lot of dirty places (Power Stations, Steel Plants, Mines etc.) and I dont think the Blond seats would stay that colour for very long!!:dodgy:

Its a shame though as I do prefer the blond trim so hopefully when my OH changes her car I can persuade her to get a second V40 with this interior colour:)

On Order - V40 SE Lux in Biarritz Blue, Charcoal Leather, 17" Mannan, TFT, SE Lux Winter Pack

Interior dilemma

Hi lads,

Been to the Volvo dealer here in Johannesburg, and I test drove the D2 and the T3. Not quite sure which one I like best. But now to my question.

Does ANYBODY know of any photographic example (not a rendering which is used on the Volvo site) of the ESPRESSO BLOND interior? I have been thinking of getting it but nowhere on the web is the real pic available.

P10G --> Leather blond/charcoal.
Think it's a fresh look in combination with the sapphire black exterior.
Chairs, armrest and upper side of the doors are in blond, rest charcoal.
In combination with Glacier White interior lights, I think it looks great ;)

Ontopic:

I went for a bold move here, and got the VASA leather espres - blonde/blonde and shimmer graphite.

Same thing Katron...

I have identical setup... :)))) very bold indeed....the seats DO stain though...I have to clean them every week end... I use some car leather wipes but they dont do a great job. I drive with these black leather gloves I want the car to be **** and span before my wife arrives from Europe...

But I found that the black gloves stain blonde Leather at the door handle. and i cant really take the stain off......whilst on that topin any good leather cleaners out there? I hear Auto Glym car leather cleaner?
